A comedy dressed up to look like a thriller, The 39 Steps ( adaptation by Patrick Barlow, form an origional concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon) is packed with laughs, zany characters and romance. The cast of four infuse the adventure story, loosely based on Alfred Hitchcock's original thriller with fast-paced, witty and wonderful energy. The show packs its 33 scenes, with missing fingers, 150 characters, a plane crash, dance moves and plenty of fast costume changes. With steady direction by Marion Markham, this show is fun for all ages. Set in Westerly's iconic Wilcox Park, the show's 2 hours and 8 minutes will fly by.
