An Immersive performance presented by OutLoud Theatre under the direction, Kira Hawkridge and the company, in response to the Radical Women: Politically Engaged Art March 2020 exhibit at URI Providence Campus and in response to the issues facing women today 100 years after gaining the right to vote. In their 8th Season, Outloud Theatre under the direction and vision of founder, Kira Hawkridge has become known for immersive theatre productions, classic text based pieces as well as original movement theatre pieces that engage the audience in the experience. The performances dig deeply into social justice issues, sometimes tearing into classic works, peeling back the skin to get to the muscles, veins, down to the bones, and the very marrow of the work. This production is meant raise awareness through thought provoking, visceral experiences about womens body image.
