It’s murder most funny as the homicidal Brewster sisters take to relieving the loneliness of old men by inviting them in for a nice glass of homemade elderberry wine which happens to be laced with arsenic, strychnine, and “just a pinch” of cyanide. This farcical black comedy revolves around their nephew Mortimer, as he debates whether to go through with his wedding since his family also includes a brother who believes he is Teddy Roosevelt, and a murderous brother who has received plastic surgery performed by Dr. Einstein. A lively comic masterpiece.
