newportFILM’s "Mini-Fests" are weekends, every couple of months, where they strive to create the spirit of a film festival in Newport. Their mission is to bring educational and entertaining independent film programming to the community that would not otherwise be seen in the area. They usually screen one narrative, one documentary and always one kids film. They do their best to get a Director, Actor or panel to hold a Q&A at each event to spawn an active, though-provoking atmosphere.
