The Wilbury Theatre Group's New Works program announces a workshop production of resident artist Cyrus Leddy's new play The Teller directed by Susie Schutt, February 20-22, 2014.

"We are thrilled to be able to debut Cyrus' new work and to foster its growth through the New Works program," says Susie Schutt, Director of New Works at The Wilbury Group. "The Teller is thoughtful, charming, and hilarious and we couldn't be more excited for our patrons to share in its development."

"We couldn't be happier to have the chance to develop Cyrus' new play with us," added Artistic Director Josh Short . "He's been a vital part of the Wilbury Group since the beginning, and it's wonderful to see the passion that he's brought to our main stage productions as a writer, sound designer and performer channeled into a work as imaginative as The Teller."

Workshop performances of The Teller are February 20-22 at The Wilbury Theatre Group, 393 Broad Street, Providence RI. Tickets just $10 general admission, $5 students/seniors. For tickets/more info visit www.thewilburygroup.org

Featuring Cyrus Leddy, Joe Short, Meg Sullivan, Clare Blackmer, Jeff Hodge, Bobby Casey, and Charlotte McKenna.

Stage Management by Alex Maynard; Projections by Adam O'Brien; Design by Jacqueline Frole.

The Teller is a story about telling stories. It is also a series of fantastical tales about greedy kings, vengeful pigs, murderous horses and a sad but brilliant goose. It is NOT secretly about the author, or his fear that his life is spinning out of control. There will be NO SUBTEXT in this play at all. The story about the beautiful rooster who worries that his life is spinning out of control has been cut. Come prepared for escapist entertainment.

Performances
Thursday February 20, 7:30pm
Friday February 21, 7:30pm
Saturday February 22, 7:30pm
