Tony and Drama Desk Award-winner, Beth Leavel and Tony and Olivier nominated and Drama Desk Award-winner, Gavin Lee, will be performing as part of the Broadway Spotlight concert scheduled for Monday, October 17 at Ocean State Theatre in Warwick.
The concert, which is being produced exclusively for Ocean State Theatre Company by Rhode Island native, Stephen DeAngelis, who has produced over 200 different Broadway concerts at venues in New York and across the United States, features five great "straight-from-Broadway" performers, who will recreate some of their most memorable musical moments and share some of their backstage stories! Following the concert, those in attendance will have an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session.
Beth Leavel received Tony, Drama Desk, NY Outer Critics Circle and L.A. Drama Critics awards for her performance as the title character in The Drowsy Chaperone. She also received Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations for her role as Florence Greenberg in Baby It's You. You can't find this much Broadway talent on one stage...unless you are on Broadway!
