Did you know that Cinderella has a long lost twin brother named Bob living in the same kingdom with his own wicked stepfamily? That is the premise behind the hilarious family musical, Twinderella, which will be presented as part of Theatre By The Sea's 2011 Children's Festival on Friday, July 29, 2011.

The separated siblings have enlisted the services of the Fairy Godmother, the Godfather and two enchanted gerbils to help wile their way into the exclusive royal festivities of Wychwood-under-Ooze. Bob has his sights set on Prince Percy's all-kingdom baseball game, while Cinderella eyes the birthday gala for Princess Petunia. When the two strangers disappear at midnight after Cinderella hits a game winning homerun, the search is on to find the feet that fit the glass slipper and the muddy cleat!

Directed by Jean-Pierre Ferragamo, Camp OSTC's director, this engaging family musical features the talents of Ocean State Theatre Company staff members Nathan Chang, Mike Daniels, Tom Lavallee and Ashley Macko, as well as special guest performer, Nick Charbonneau, and this year's Camp OSTC campers, which includes Elizabeth Brissette, Katie Donlan, Mia Douglas, Emma Fike, Brigid Fitzgerald, Allison Gencarelli, Hallie Knight, Sarah LeClair, Caleb Manning, Emma Manning, Jessica Marasco, Kayla Mercure, Alison Miccolis, Isabella Sanderson, Juliette Sanderson, Caitlin Shields (Keri Anne O'Donnell Scholarship recipient), Matthew Thompson and Annaliesa Wood.

After the performance, families can enjoy refreshments, which will be available for purchase at the gazebo.

Twinderella will be presented on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. The theatre is located at 364 Cards Pond Road, Matunuck, RI. Single tickets are $10.00 each with packages of three shows or more for $8.00 per ticket. Discount rates are available for groups of 20 or more by calling (401) 782-3800 x18.
