From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation The Producers comes this monster new musical comedy, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, coming alive at Bill Hanney's award winning Theatre By The Sea (TBTS) from Wednesday, August 19 and through Saturday, September 6. Press night is scheduled for Friday, August 21 at 8:00pm

He is truly a master of musical comedy and this is a great way to end the summer season with a lot of laughs." said TBTS owner and producer Bill Hanney. "I know audiences will leave this show excited to come back next year for our 2016 musical season which includes Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, West Side Story, The Wizard of Oz, and Sister Act."

This wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend based on Mel Brooks' classic comedy masterpiece. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to complete his grandfather's masterwork and bring a corpse to life. With such memorable tunes as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' On The Ritz," this production is scientifically proven, monstrously good entertainment.

Theatre By The Sea's production of YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN will star Brad Bradley (Igor), Mary Claire King (Inga), Tom Gleadow (Inspector Kemp, Hermit), Tommy Labanaris (Frederick Frankenstein), Brittany Morello (Elizabeth), Brian Padgett (The Monster), and Sandy Rosenberg (Frau Blucher).

The cast of 23 also includes Robert Conte, Zach Williams, Spencer Lawson, Jacob Paulson, Andrew Holder, Robert Wilday, Owen Pelesh, Isaiah Reynolds, Kristen Schoen-Rene, Rachel Guest, Meghan Glogower, Jamie Thiessen, Julie Eicher, Kendall Hope, Hannah Kate Wilson, and Grace Romanello,

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN will be directed and directed and choreographed by choreographed by Kevin P. Hill. The creative team also includes Rodney Bush (Musical Director), Kyle Dixon (Scenic Design), William Ivey Long (Original Costume Design), Bailey Costa (Lighting Design), Leon Rothenberg (Sound Design), Stephanie Harrop (Makeup Design), Eileen F. Haggerty (Production Stage Manager), and Geoffrey Boranda (Stage Manager). YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is produced for Theatre By The Sea by Bill Hanney (Owner/Producer), Kevin P. Hill (Artistic Director), and Thom Warren (Associate Producer).

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN runs August 19 - September 6, Tuesdays through Sundays. Check the website for exact dates and show times.
