The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre board of directors, along with honorary chairs First Lady of Pawtucket Laureen Grebien and Political Commentator Maureen Moakley, invite arts supporters to The Snow Ball, the theater's 10th annual fundraising party, on Saturday, February 18 at 6 p.m.

Emceed by WRNI General Manager Joe O'Connor, and billed as "the hottest party in the coldest month," The Snow Ball brings the outdoors indoors, transforming a historic Pawtucket mill into the Arctic North. The venue, at 65 Blackstone Avenue, Pawtucket, RI, is located just a snow ball's throw from the theater. Highlights are winter-themed food and drinks, hot tunes to shake off your winter blues and cool raffle prizes, as well as silent and live auctions starting online at www.biddingforgood.com/gammtheatre.

Featured auction items include a glass sculptural vessel by renowned artist Toots Zynsky, created especially for The Snow Ball (pictured). World-famous for her signature "filet-de-verre" technique, Zynsky's one-of-a-kind sculpture will be available for preview at BankRI Gallery, 137 Pitman St., Providence, starting February 2.

Other distinctive items include a week-long stay at a vacation home on the Caribbean Island of Eleuthera, Bahamas, with private beach access; an overnight stay at the New York Athletic Club with a pair of tickets to see the Tony Award-winning play War Horse; and a limited-edition single-malt whiskey fabricated to resemble the Scotch that explorer Ernest Shackleton took with him to the Antarctic in 1907, as written about in The New York Times. Absentee bidding on all items is permitted.

Two-tiered tickets are on sale now at gammtheatre.org or by calling 401-723-4266, ext. 16. Snow Angel tickets at $125/person (6 p.m. arrival) include dinner with Gamm artists catered by Russell Morin Fine Catering, dessert and open bar. Ice Breaker tickets at $65/person (7 p.m. arrival), include dessert, complimentary wine and beer and a cocktail ticket. Glacier Sponsors at $2,500 include 10 Snow Angel tickets, program listing and recognition at the event.
