Due to overwhelming demand, The Wilbury Theatre Group announces additional performances of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE OR, THE SLAVE OF DUTY; now running through Sunday, June 17. Running to popular acclaim and sold-out houses since previews, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE OR, THE SLAVE OF DUTY is the wild adaptation of the Gilbert and Sullivan masterpiece by Sean Graney and Kevin O'Donnell from Chicago's famed Hypocrites Theatre.

Directed by Wilbury Artistic Director Josh Short with music direction by Matt Requintina and choreography by Ali Kenner Brodsky, the Wilbury Group production has been called "delightfully fresh and beautifully reimagined" (The Providence Journal), "imaginative" and "refreshing" (Edge Providence), "a high energy blast from start to finish" (Theater Mirror), "truly one of a kind" (Motif Magazine), and a "raucous time that'll have you out of your seat and excited to find the best view" (Rhode Island Travel).
