Providence Performing Arts Center to Host 'CURIOUS INCIDENT' Photo Scavenger Hunt

The Providence Performing Arts Center has announced that it will feature a photo scavenger hunt on their Facebook (Facebook.com/ProvPacRI) for THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME.

The five-time Tony Award-winning production performs at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) February 7 - 12. In Providence, THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME is part of the Taco/White Family Foundation Broadway Series.

In THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone goes on an incredible journey. Facebook followers can go on their own journeys with the PPAC Photo Scavenger Hunt. PPAC will post one clue on each of the following dates: Thursday, January 19 - Sunday, January 22, and then Thursday, January 26 - Sunday, January 29.

Each clue will lead participants to different locations around Rhode Island that relate to THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME. Each mystery location must be photographed, and the first person who emails all of the correct photos to Leah Fellman at lfellman@ppacri.org will win a grand prize of a four-pack of tickets to THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME's Wednesday, February 8 performance and a pre-show dinner; if there are multiple entrants meeting the criteria, the grand prize will be drawn at random from qualified entrants. There will also be nine runners-up who will be awarded a pair of tickets to the Wednesday, February 8 performance of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME.

THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME tells the story of fifteen-year old Christopher Boone, who has an extraordinary brain; he is exceptionally intelligent but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor's dog, he sets out to identify the true culprit, which leads to an earth-shattering discovery and a journey that will change his life forever.

Tickets start at $36; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice.
