"Dial M for Murder" is opening March 23 at the Granite Theatre. The show is a classic thriller. Alfred Hitchcock turned it into a cinematic blockbuster that captivated audiences. An outstanding cast thrusts the audience into the middle of this psychologically immersive thriller. Producer/ Artistic Director for the theatre is David Jepson.

Tony Wendice has married his wife, Margot, for her money and now plans to murder her for the same reason. He arranges the perfect murder. He blackmails a scoundrel he used to know into strangling her for a fee of one thousand pounds and arranges a brilliant alibi for himself. When the plans go temporarily awry the husband must quickly devise an even more devious plan to achieve his ends. A police inspector from Scotland Yard and a young man who is in love with the wife begin a fevered search for the truth, in a scene of almost unbearable suspense. "tingling with excitement" -NY Times. "It's a holiday for the whodunit fans." -NY Herald-Tribune.

Brian Olsen (Westerly, RI) directs. The cast features Rick Bagley (Middletown, RI), Veronica Strickland (Waterford, CT), Steve Spartano (Westerly, RI), Fergus Milton (Westerly, RI), Mark Sullivan (Westerly, RI) and Brian Olsen.

Patrons may enjoy a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks from the theatre's cash bar at all performances in the comfortable, spacious lobby of the beautifully refurbished, historic theatre. Opening nights of each new production feature an opportunity to share "Pizza with the Cast" and a mixer of patrons and performers.
