Professional Facilities Management (PFM) is pleased to announce Veterans Memorial Auditorium's (VMA) 2009/2010 season. Tickets for these performances go on-sale Monday, July 27 at 10A.

PPAC's Summer Box Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 10A-3P and are in effect until Thursday, September 3. Regular Box Office hours resume Tuesday, September 8 and are Monday-Friday, 10A-5P and Saturday 10A-2P.
The VMA on-site box office, located at 1 Avenue of the Arts, will only be open on performance dates; please call (401) 421-ARTS for specific hours. PPAC offers military discounts online at www.vmari.com, in person at the PPAC box office, and by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787) for all PFM-presented VMA performances. Discounted admission is available for groups of 20 or more. Please note that dates, programs, and artists are subject to change without notice; ticket prices for the VMA include a $2 per ticket facility fee.

Oscar-nominated HAl Holbrook stars in "Mark Twain TONIGHT!" on Friday, October 10, 2009 at 8P. Ticket prices for Mark Twain TONIGHT are $55 and $45. The New York Times finds Holbrook "uproarious" and The New Yorker describes his portrayal of Twain as "uncanny." Even though Holbrook has toured as Mark Twain for the past 55 years, he constantly updates and revises his performance, making "Mark Twain TONIGHT!" relevant and timely.
DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN attempts to humorously call a truce in the battle between the sexes on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 5P and 8:30P (this production is recommended for adult audiences). Ticket prices are $45 and $25. DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN's "outrageously funny and surprisingly sweet exploration of the gender gap" (Chicago Sun Times) has made it the longest-running solo play in Broadway history. The comedy has been translated into 16 different languages and has been performed in over 30 countries.
WGBH PRESENTS: A CHRISTMAS CELTIC SOJOURN WITH BRIAN O'DONOVAN returns to Providence on Saturday, December 12 at 3P; ticket prices are $68 and $58. After a highly successful run last December at PPAC, WGBH has committed to making A CHRISTMAS CELTIC SOJOURN an annual Rhode Island tradition. This production features an all-star cast of Celtic musicians and performers and celebrates the Christmas spirit through music, song, dance, poetry, and stories.
THE MUSIC OF ABBA, on Saturday, January 16 at 8P, features the band Arrival from Sweden. They are the only group to have exclusive rights to reproduce ABBA's signature costumes. Since 1995, Arrival from Sweden has toured with their "high-octane show" (The Cape Cod Times) in over 35 nations. Tickets for THE MUSIC OF ABBA are $36 and $30.
GROOVALOO's "highly contagious freestyle dancing" (LA Weekly) will amaze Providence on Sunday, February 14 at 6:30P. Ticket prices for GROOVALOO are $45 and $25. Winner of NBC's International Superstars of Dance, the dance troupe fuses hip-hop dancing and spoken word in order to chronicle their personal struggles and successes. This "inspirational" (LA Times) production celebrates the importance of dance and the true meaning of family.
