The Hope High Arts and Honors Project was initiated by Mixed Magic Theatre Co-Founder Ricardo Pitts-Wiley to help re-energize the arts programs at Hope High School. For many years the programs at Hope produced a number of outstanding actors, singers, musicians and stage technicians. Many of these artists work or have worked at Mixed Magic.
Hope High School has also been home to many individuals and teams state champions in track and field, as well as several world-class athletes.
Another goal of the project is to encourage support for the renovation of the magnificent auditorium there.
