Bistro By The Sea, located on the grounds at the historic Theatre By The Sea, is thrilled to welcome one of Rhode Island's preeminent entertainers, Miss Sabrina Blaze, as host of the Late Night Cabaret.

Wayne Alan Hawkins has been performing with local theatre companies for many years. Some of his favorite roles include the Emcee in Cabaret, Billy Flynn in Chicago, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol and Albin in La Cage aux Folles.

After attending a Miss Gay Rhode Island Pageant, he decided it was time to bring his talents to the gay community. With the assistance of a wig and a gown, he took to the stage as the legendary Broadway star, Carol Channing. That night, Wayne won the coveted title and a drag queen was born!

Miss Sabrina Blaze started working in charity drag shows and is now one of the most beloved girls of Providence, receiving a citation from Mayor David Cicillini for charity work and voted entertainer of 2006. In 2008, the Volunteer Center of Rhode Island honored Wayne as an Outstanding Volunteer for his commendable service to his community through AIDS Care Ocean State.

Miss Sabrina Blaze can be seen regularly at The Dark Lady in Providence, hosting karaoke or in the comedy show "Beauty and the Bitch" with Kitty Litter. Her credits also include producer and director of her own shows "Sabrina Blaze the One Woman Show" and "Sabrina Blaze Live in Concert."

Miss Sabrina Blaze will be hosting Bistro by the Sea's popular Late Night Cabaret following evening performances at Theatre By The Sea every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from June 19 - September 6.

Reservations are strongly recommended for the cabaret and for dinner, (Tuesday - Sunday evenings) and can be made by calling (401) 789-3030 after 3:00 pm.

Tickets for productions being presented as part of Theatre By The Sea's 76th Season, are currently on sale at the box office Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm, online 24-hours-a-day at www.theatrebythesea.com and via telephone during normal box office hours by calling (401) 782-TKTS (8587).
