It's Christmas In July At PPAC! On Sale Dates Announced For Holiday Pops And Mannheim Steamroller Christmas

The Providence Performing Arts Center is celebrating Christmas in July with tickets going on sale for 2018 Holiday Pops Tour: Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra - Keith Lockhart, Conductor and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis.

Tickets for the 2018 Holiday Pops Tour concert on Saturday, December 8 at 8P will go on sale on Wednesday, July 25 at 10A at the PPAC Box Office (220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence), online at www.ppacri.org and by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787). Ticket prices for the Holiday Pops are $130 - $58; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice.

Tickets for Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis on Friday, December 7 at 7:30P become available online only at www.ppacri.org on Friday, July 27 at 10A. Phone and window sales will begin on Monday, July 30 at 10A. Ticket prices for Mannheim Steamroller Christmas are $77 - $37; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice.

Summer Box Office Hours are currently in effect. Summer Hours are Monday through Thursday, 10A to 3P and two hours prior to curtain time(s) on performance days.

The Mannheim Steamroller Christmas concert features classic Christmas songs as well as a selection of Fresh Aire compositions from Mannheim Steamroller, along with multimedia effects. The Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Tour is one of the longest running tours in the music industry. 2018 marks the 34th Anniversary of Mannheim's Christmas Tour and release of Mannheim Steamroller Christmas, an album that revolutionized the Holiday Season music category.

The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and conductor Keith Lockhart return to PPAC as part of their beloved 2018 Holiday Pops Tour. The Holiday Pops concert captures the magic of the holiday season and the winter charms of New England with their signature "Sleigh Ride," holiday classics, and new arrangements of seasonal favorites. They will be joined by the Metropolitan Chorale, with Music Director Lisa Graham, and Santa Claus!
