Epic Theatre Company is welcoming the scariest month of the year with a World Premiere that mixes Tom Stoppard, Václev Havel, and some twisted stories in THE TERRIFYING TALES OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM by Andy Boyd. A political thriller, a dark comedy, a cautionary tale, and a celebration of storytelling-all in one mesmerizing play.

A theater troupe in Czechoslovakia is rehearsing for a brand new play. They're calling it THE TERRIFYING TALES OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM to get it past the government censors. When the censor shows up demanding to see the play, the troupe is forced to improvise the Grimm fairy tales on the spot. As the stories begin to resemble the lives of the actors in the troupe, the lines betwee...n fiction and fact are blurred, and the only thing left is fear.

THE TERRIFYING TALES OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM by Andy Boyd, directed by Kate Lester (Epic's Fire Island), and featuring Rudy Sanda (Epic Theatre's Absalom), Patrick Keeffe (Epic's Three Sisters), Greg Geer, Sarah Reed, Vanessa Blanchette, and Mary Beth Kim (Epic's This Is the Future, This Is the Past) is the perfect show for October.
