Musical Director Fred Barton and performer Michael McGrath are leading the efforts on SONGS ON THE SAND: A Broadway Concert Celebrating Tommy Brent with the support of Mr. Brent's family and in co-operation with Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), the not-for-profit producing entity at Theatre By The Sea. During his years at Theatre By The Sea, Mr. Brent helped many artists get their start in the business. Additional performers who will be appearing in the memorial concert include Meg Bussert (Irene, The Music Man opposite Dick Van Dyke, Brigadoon (Tony® Nominee), Camelot with Richard Burton, Damn Yankees revival), Martin Van Treuren (Jekyll & Hyde, Singin' In The Rain, Me And My Girl, How The Grinch Stole Christmas), Sandy Rosenberg (Mamma Mia, Scarlet Pimpernel), Bradley Jones (A Chorus Line, Jesus Christ Superstar), Rita McKenzie (Ruthless, Ethel Merman's Broadway), Karen Wilder, Catherine Hughes Black, Vickie Phillips, Jill Keating, Maria Day, Robert Zolli, Monique Lareau, Anne McKenna, Rich Flanders, and Arthur "Bucky" Walsh.
