Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), the not-for-profit professional theatre company, currently celebrating its third season in Warwick, and AIDS Care Ocean State (ACOS) are teaming up for a fundraising event. Broadway veteran Brad Bradley will be bringing his cabaret show, B Squared - a "gay romp" and musical journey about taking chances and earning smile lines, to Ocean State Theatre for one performance only on Sunday, November 23 at 7:00 pm.

"One of our supportive audience members brought Brad Bradley's B Squared to my attention," said Amiee Turner, Producing Artistic Director of Ocean State Theatre Company. "He appeared this past summer as Bert in Mary Poppins and Patsy in Spamalot at Theatre By The Sea and gained a lot of fans in Rhode Island. We are thrilled that he is able to bring his show to Warwick. With Ida Zecco's show Estro-Gin & Tonic the night before, it is shaping up to be a very special musical weekend with something for everyone."

Brad Bradley has appeared in seven different productions on Broadway including the original casts of Spamalot and Annie Get Your Gun (both Tony and Grammy-Award winners), as well as Steel Pier, Thou Shalt Not, People in the Picture, A Christmas Carol, and the closing company of Billy Elliot. Off Broadway, national tour and regional appearances, including Bert in Mary Poppins and Phil in White Christmas, have kept him busy when he's not on Broadway. Brad has been a back-up dancer for a variety of artists from Michael Jackson to Chita Rivera. B Squared has been performed and earned rave reviews in New York City, Maine, and San Diego. Theatre Pizzazz's Joel Benjamin described B Squared as "...skillfully assembled and artfully performed by a young at heart guy who clearly loves what he does," while Producer/Promoter Daniel Nardico felt "... his performance brought back thoughts of old song-and-dance men like Gene Kelly or Donald O'Connor...." Jason Pendergast of Gay Ogunquit said, "Witty, self-deprecating and also charming, Brad's journey is a very relatable tale for many gays, both performers and those seeking to be entertained."

B Squared is a musical journey of a young boy struggling with his sexuality through the life of a fully realized dream. Its star, Brad Bradley, made a great career as a Broadway chorus boy, turned understudy, then scene stealing sidekick. Now with B Squared, Brad ventures into the world of leading man. Spend a night of silly song and dance with a man who enjoyed earning his smile lines. The show teeters above and below the surface, at times touching a nerve, but mostly hitting the funny bone. B Squared contains LGBT and adult subject matter.

Directed by Tony Spinosa, with musical direction by Joshua Zecher-Ross, B Squared features music by Stephen Lynch, Stuart McMeans, Weird Al Yankovic, Sam Harris, Johnny Rogers, Family Guy, Christopher Dallman, Cole Escola, William Finn, and Andrew Lippa.

A portion of the proceeds from B Squared will benefit AIDS Care Ocean State, which has been providing essential services to persons living with HIV/AIDS in Rhode Island since 1990.

B Squared will be presented on Sunday, November 23 at 7:00 pm. The theatre is located at 1245 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick, RI. Tickets are $35 for premiere "VIP" seating and $25 for standard seating and are on sale at the box office Monday through Friday from 12 noon - 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 12 noon - 4:00 pm. Tickets are also available online 24 hours a day at www.OceanStateTheatre.org and via telephone during normal box office hours by calling (401) 921-6800. Note: No children under the age of 12 please. Rush tickets are not available for OSTC fundraising events.
