Bank of America Supports Ocean State Theatre's Fifth Season

Ocean State Theatre Company, the producing entity at the historic Theatre By The Sea, has announced that Bank of America has made a generous contribution in support of their Fifth Anniversary Season at the historic Theatre By The Sea.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bank of America to the OSTC family!” said Amiee Turner, president of Ocean State Theatre Company. “It is so gratifying to know that the arts are appreciated by the local business community.”

Bank of America is committed to creating meaningful change in the communities they serve through their philanthropic efforts, associate volunteerism, community development activities and investing, support of arts and culture programming and environmental initiatives. The Bank of America Charitable Foundation provides philanthropic support to museums, theaters and other arts-related nonprofits to expand their services and offerings to schools and communities. Bank of America partners with more than five thousand arts institutions worldwide.

Ocean State Theatre Company’s fifth full season at Theatre By The Sea opens May 30 with a preview performance of Forever Plaid, which runs through June 17, followed by the family classic, The Sound of Music, the Rhode Island premiere of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5: The Musical, the current Broadway hit, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and the Rhode Island premiere of Yazmina Reza’s God of Carnage.

Subscriptions and single tickets are on sale at the box office Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, online anytime at theatrebythesea.com and via telephone during normal box office hours by calling (401) 782-TKTS (8587). The box office will also be open one hour prior to every performance.
