Valastro will even invite audience members to join the fun on stage.

Valastro is an accomplished fourth generation baker born into the business owned and operated by his parents. He grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey, in an old-fashioned Italian family and showed a flair for cake decorating at an early age. At the age of 17, his father died and Valastro had to suddenly take on the responsibilities of the patriarch. With the help of his family and his ability to thrive under pressure, Valastro has taken Carlo's Bakery to new heights.

One of the centerpiece shows of the TLC network, the third season of Cake Boss debuTed May 31st. Viewers continue to celebrate the mouthwatering desserts and not-to-be-missed Valastro family moments occurring at Carlo's Bakery, celebrating its 100th anniversary this summer! Free Press (Simon & Schuster) will publish Valastro's first book Cake Boss: The Stories and Recipes on November 2, 2010. In the book, Valastro shares recipes and his family's inspiring, fascinating, and poignant life story.
