What's Saving My Life at Eastern University Theatre

Incarcerated individuals know all too well what is killing them. Inspired by a Barbara Brown Taylor sermon, a college playwriting professor asks her incarcerated students to consider the question: "What's saving my life right now?" Through scenes and monologues written by these students, What's Saving My Life will encourage audiences to see and appreciate the little and big things that are saving us.

This event will take place in McInnis Auditorium on Eastern University's St. Davids Campus. It is 90 minutes long, including the Reader's Theatre presentation of scenes and monologues written by students incarcerated at SCI Chester and performed by Eastern University community members followed by a post performance discussion, Problems and Possibilities for Theatre Education in Prison.

Admission is FREE, but donations to support the artists and production costs will be gratefully accepted at the door.
