The cast and creative team has been announced for The Producers at the Hayes Theatre. BThe Producers won a record 12 Tony Awards. Now the show comes to Hayes Theatre Co in an all-new production, with performances commencing 29 March.

The first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers is now open at the Menier Chocolate Factory, directed by Tony Award-winning Patrick Marber and Broadway choreographer Lorin Latarro.

Kentwood Players will present the classic musical comedy THE PRODUCERS by Mel Brooks and  Thomas Meehan opening Friday, November 15 at Westchester Playhouse.

A major new revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of THE PRODUCERS will be staged at the Menier this Christmas by Tony Award-winning director Patrick Marber.

Ya se han anunciado los finalistas de la 16ª edición de los Premios de Teatro Musical (PTM), en la que L’ALEGRIA QUE PASSA y THE BOOK OF MORMON  lideran las nominaciones con 14 cada uno, seguidos de THE PRODUCERS con 12 y EL FANTASMA DE LA ÓPERA con 11.

Los dos actores protagonizan el musical de Mel Brooks ahora en el Alcalá de Madrid durante 10 únicas semanas.

El musical cuenta la historia de Max Bialystock, un productor de Broadway que está en la ruina, y Leo Bloom, un joven contable. Ambos sueñan con hacerse ricos con un plan sorprendente. Para conseguir su objetivo, tienen que producir el fracaso más grande de la historia del teatro musical y huir con el dinero de los inversores. Pero poner en marcha un auténtico desastre no es nada fácil.  Tienen que encontrar el peor guion, el peor equipo de dirección, los peores actores y estrenar un espectáculo absolutamente espantoso. ¿Lo conseguirán?

The 2024 Governors Awards took place on January 9, where Mel Brooks was honored with an Honorary Oscar for his legacy of work. Prior to being presented with the award,  Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane took the stage to give a speech, and then performed a medly of songs from The Producers, including The King of Old Broadway and I Want to Be a Producer.

Entr'Acte Theatrix will present what Variety's Charles Isherwood called “a rip-roaring, gut-busting, rib-tickling, knee-slapping, aisle-rolling … good time” musical at the Willow Theatre at Sugar Sand Park. The show will open on May 19th and run through June 4th.
