About the Album: French chanteuse Geneviève headlined The Plaza Hotel's Persian Room in Manhattan after becoming a star on TV and on Jack Parr's Tonight Show in which she got laughs with her broken English. She also toured the country starring in Can-Can and Silk Stockings, as well as Irma la Douce and The Genevieve Show. This is the first-ever CD of her recordings including songs from Can-Can.
