Mufasa is coming home. Disney has announced the digital and physical media release of Mufasa: The Lion King, the 2024 origin story of the fan-favorite character.

Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King” continues its reign at the top of the global box office, and now, the entire sequence featuring the villain song “Bye Bye” is viewable on DisneyMusic VEVO and YouTube. 

The Cinema Audio Society has announced its nominees in seven categories for the 61st Annual CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing 2024. Nominees include Wicked, A Complete Unknown, Moana 2, Mufasa: The Lion King, and more. Check out the full list!

NAACP has announced the full list of “56th NAACP Image Awards” nominees, with Wicked and The Piano Lesson nominated for Outstanding Motion Picture and Wicked's Cynthia Erivo nominated for Entertainer of the Year.
