Currently playing in New York to ecstatic reviews, the show has been given new life and renewed attention with this acclaimed revival, featuring direction by Oscar and Tony-winner Joel Grey. This SOLD OUT production has been extended a few times at the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene and is currently performing at Off-Broadway's Stage 42.

This cast album includes songs in English from the Broadway out-of-town tryout from 1964 and will feature star vocalists from Hollywood, Broadway and Television, including Joel Grey, Richard Kind, Hal Linden, Austin Pendleton, Tom Wopat, Donna McKechnie, Joanna Merlin, and Sheldon Harnick.
