“Christmas In Hell,” the very unconventional holiday musical by Gary Apple, is finishing its premier run in Las Vegas. If you weren’t in Sin City to see it,  take this photo journey into the bowels of Hell to get a glimpse of what you missed.

The seasonal musical comedy 'Christmas In Hell' will be concluding its premier Las Vegas stint on the first of the year. The limited-run show, which bills itself as 'Holiday Fun For The Whole Family... Except The Kids,' ran for six weeks at Notoriety Theater on Fremont Street in downtown Vegas.

The holidays have arrived, with images of decorating a tree, shopping, parties, dinners with family, and all of the joy the season brings. Then there is Bah Humbug, but Christmas in Hell takes it one step further as an irreverent musical comedy performing in the Notoriety Renkus Heinz Theater at Notoriety Las Vegas through Jan. 15, 2023.

Previously featured at sold-out shows at Off-Broadway's York Theatre, 'Christmas in Hell' will debut at Notoriety on November 17, 2022 and continue into the new year with shows until January 15, 2023.

Bill Castellino directs and choreographs. Cast members include Almeria Campbell, Victoria Casillo, Daniela Delahuerta, Matthew Liu, Jesse Manocherian, Sarah Nandola, Pearl Rhein, Noah Ruebeck, Hansel Tan, and Miles Whittaker. Twenty-five performances will be staged from April 23 – May 22, 2022, at Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre, 338 West 23rd Street, New York, NY 11201.

Urban Stages Theater is presenting the premier reading of On The Flip Side, a new jukebox musical by Gary Apple as part of their 'Winter Readings Series.' Jukebox musicals about legendary superstars have packed Broadway houses over recent years, so Apple decided to create one for artists who will never have a jukebox musical of their own -- namely, One-Hit Wonders.

Today, indie-rock duo Crocodiles share 'Christmas In Hell', a gritty new Christmas tune perfect for the 2020 holiday season alongside a music video directed by Kate Clover. Brooklyn Vegan premiered the song, praising it as a 'new tiding of yuletide cheer' and detailing some backstory to the track.

Urban Stages Theater is presenting the first public reading of LEAVE THE CANNOLI, the latest play by Gary Apple as part of their 'New Year, New Plays' series, LEAVE THE CANNOLI is a comedy set in the world of The Godfather and tells the unknown story of how the horse head ends up in the movie producer's bed. Though everyone knows that iconic scene, the film never explains how the horse head actually got there. Playwright Apple, known for his twisted tales, decided to speculate on how it might have happened.

Due to technical issues (or spy interference) the Off Broadway premiere of I Spy A Spy, a new (declassified) musical comedy, with book and lyrics by Jamie Jackson and book & music by SoHee Youn, directed and choreographed by Bill Castellino (Cagney, Desperate Measures) with musical direction by Dan Pardo (Amazing Grace) will now begin its limited engagement (through September 21) at The Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Saturday, July 6th at 8pm. The show will have its official opening on Thursday, July 18th at 7pm.

Weston Playhouse Theatre Company presents a fresh take on the inimitable masterpiece, Rodgers and Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA! (July 18 - August 10 | Weston Playhouse), Tues - Sat 7:30pm; Wed & Sat 2:00pm; Sun 3:00pm.  

Producer The Green Room 42 played host on Friday, June 14, 2019, to the fourth edition variety show of The Early Night Show LIVE! created, written, directed, accompanied, and performed by 12 year old Joshua Turchin. The young performer, writer and composer drew lots of laughs and applause throughout the cabaret featuring music, sketch comedy, improv, and special guests.

Perfectly Theatrical, LLC announces the premiere of The Perfect Fit as part of the inaugural RAVE THEATER FESTIVAL. This family friendly musical features the book, music and lyrics written by twelve-year-old musical prodigy Joshua Turchin.

Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' June 14, 2019 at 7pm. Turchin previously performed several successful shows, 'The Early Night Show at The Green Room' and the 'West End Lounge,' and regularly music directs and accompanies at The Green Room 42's (YOUNG) cabaret series. Special guests from Broadway, television and film will join Turchin on stage.

Producer Eric Krebs, in association with Harriet Spalding & Michael Planit, will present developmental lab presentations of I Spy A Spy, a new (declassified) musical comedy, with book and lyrics by Jamie Jackson and music & lyrics by SoHee Youn

The Early Night Show With Joshua Turchin released the live performance of 'I Won't Grow Up, Or Will I?... a Peter Pan-Inspired Medley', a parody medley arranged, co-written, and performed by Joshua Turchin (A Christmas Story, The Pill, TrevorLive LA) and Ellis Gage (James & the Giant Peach World Premiere). Joshua Turchin also served as the music director and accompanist. The parody is a humorous and touching dialogue delving into the mind of pre-pubescent boy sopranos who fear the inevitable onset of puberty when they must face the reality that they will, in fact, grow up.
