Daniel Reichard, best known for portraying Bob Gaudio in the Original Broadway Cast of Jersey Boys, will return to the New York City stage with his sixteenth annual holiday concert, READY FOR CHRISTMAS, at The Cutting Room.

Cape Ann Symphony will kick off the 73rd season at 2:00 PM on September, 29 2024 with an Orchestral Spectacular featuring music from Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Ottorino Respighi.

For its 27th season, South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO) celebrates the icons and rebels of classical music, presenting a tantalizing season featuring popular works by Gershwin, Mozart, Strauss, Prokofiev, Berlioz, and the eagerly anticipated orchestra premiere of Bernstein's satirical masterpiece Candide.

Enjoy a special family concert by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra during the July school holidays, featuring engaging performances perfect for all ages.

What did our critic think of CANDIDE at Palais Theatre?

Leonard Bernstein's masterpiece, Candide, is back in Vienna for a strictly limited run. Based on Voltaire's 18th-century novel, Bernstein created a so-called comic operetta, or as some might say, a musical in an old-fashioned way. You may call it whatever you want. At the end of the evening, it is a beautifully crafted piece of art.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Tony award-winning Broadway set and costume designer Franne Lee, best known for her work on Hal Prince's Sweeney Todd and Candide, has passed away. She was 81.
