The Best of 10 Years Cabaret at Lee Street Theatre

Lee Street theatre takes a stroll down memory lane with their upcoming cabaret show! This musical revue is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a tribute to performances from the last 10 years. The Best of 10 Years Cabaret features a variety of musical selections ranging from classic ballads to Simon and Garfunkel. Performed by some of Salisbury’s favorite singers: John Brincefield, Wendy Weant, and Carol Harris to name a few, The Best of 10 Years Cabaret will have you singing and clapping along! Come be a part of the memories and hear some of your favorite songs that are sure to bring down the house!

The musical revue started as a passion project in 2008 between five friends. These ladies put together a list of songs from the 40s to perform just for fun and their love of music. The show was such a success its popularity kept it coming back. The chorus of voices has since grown to include men and women who collaborate to choose the theme and songs each year. Many of these singers have been performing together for more than 25 years while adopting new friends along the way.

The Best of 10 Years Cabaret is the final musical revue to be seen at Lee Street theatre! Be sure to seize the opportunity to watch local performers do what they do best!

The show will feature the talents of the following 9 singers:
John Brincefield, Kent Bernhardt, Graham Carlton, Becky Lippard, Mary Ann
McCubbin, Patsy Parnell, Lauren Stephenson, Wendy Weant, and Carol Harris.

The Creative Team includes Cindi Graham as Production Manager, Craig Kolkebeck as Artistic Director, Rod Oden as Technical Director, and Caitlin Billings as Marketing Director.

Performances run May 3rd-5th at 7:30pm, with a special matinee performance on May 6th at 2:30pm. The show will be held at Lee Street Theatre and Performing Arts Center at the Tom and Martha Smith Event Center on 329 N Lee Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.
