North Carolina Theatre, the region's premiere nonprofit professional regional theatre, presents Jesus Christ Superstar, playing this Easter, April 11-16 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

Aaron C. Finley and Aleks Pevec make their North Carolina Theatre debuts as "Judas Iscariot" and "Jesus of Nazareth." Finley most recently starred on Broadway as "Charlie Price" in Kinky Boots. Before Kinky Boots, Finley performed in Broadway's Rock of Agesand It Shoulda Been You. Pevec was recently featured in Something Rotten on Broadway, with other Broadway credits including Aladdin and Evita.

Jesus Christ Superstar also features Brennyn Lark as "Mary Magdalene." Lark most recently made her Broadway debut as "Eponine" in the revival of LES MISERABLES at the Imperial Theatre. Other credits include numerous New York and regional theatre performances including the title role in Aida, "Michele" in Dreamgirls and "Asaka" in Once on This Island.

The cast is rounded out by Larry Alan Coke as "Caiaphas," who also played the role in both the North American and European tours, Kevin Earley as "Pontius Pilate," Joshua Morganas "King Herod" and Rob Morrison as "Annas."

Among the ensemble in roles ranging from apostles to guards to priests are Raja Burrows,Hugh Cha, Nick DeVito (North Carolina Theatre Conservatory alumnus), Stephen Hernandez, Valton Jackson, Kelsey Orem, Terance Reddick, Carlita Victoria, Emily ThomasWells, Jimmie Lee Brooks III, Leilani Carr (North Carolina Theatre Conservatory student), Kalyse Connor (North Carolina Theatre Conservatory student), Jurä Davis, Jodie Evans, Melvin Gray Jr., Chelsea Langevin, John Langley, Destiny Diamond McNeill, Gerard M. Williams.

Native North Carolinian, Eric Woodall, will return to North Carolina Theatre to direct Jesus Christ Superstar. Most recently Woodall directed West Side Story at Casa Manana in Fort Worth, TX. Other directing credits include North Carolina Theatre's productions of Disney's and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, Driving Miss Daisy andSteel Magnolias. Additionally, Woodall has served as resident director of Mamma Mia! on Broadway.
