Estes Tarver, popular local actor/producer/director, stars in the upcoming film CHANGEOVER, premiering September 24th, 2015 at 7:00pm and 9:00pm at Raleigh's Rialto Theater. CHANGEOVER is the story of 17 year old Haley Thompson (played by Raleigh's Maddie Taylor) and her uncle Chad (Tarver), a tennis pro who are forced together after the tragic death of Haley's parents. They must learn to form a new family and battle the obstacles of anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and forgiveness. This hopeful movie takes a positive look at current teen mental health issues by answering timeless questions of: How do we survive and thrive after immense suffering? How do we leave behind the things we treasure in order heal and love again?

CHANGEOVER is partnering with the Wake Forest chapter of the National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI) to help increase awareness about the issues explored in this film: teen depression, self-inflicted cutting, attempted suicide, post traumatic stress, and the coping mechanisms necessary for recovery. Local NAMI representatives will be available at the talk back session after the premiere. Tarver has assembled an impressive cast and crew of Triangle-area actors, writers, and technicians, many of whom have Hollywood and New York film and stage credits. Principle filming took place in Raleigh, Kingston, and Oak Island, NC. This film is produced by Raleigh's Moonlight Stage Company in association with Raleigh-based Vertus Media. This film has not yet been rated. Tickets for the Raleigh Premiere of CHANGEOVER are available at www.moonlightstageco.com
