"This is a stunning piece of theatre that celebrates the resilience of these three sisters in the face of terrible circumstances. It's full of incredible wit and charm that audiences will adore," said Jeffrey Meanza, Director of Crimes of the Heart.
Beth Henley's comedy brings you into the Mississippi household of the Magrath sisters. Babe (Maigan Kennedy) has just shot her husband because she didn't like his looks. Meg (Dana Harshaw*) is back in town after a failed attempt in the music business and a nervous breakdown. And poor Lenny (Jen Avery*) - everyone has forgotten her 30th birthday...plus, her pet horse was just struck by lightning! Bad luck certainly runs deep among the Magrath clan. Sandi Sullivan (Chick Boyle), Adam Poole (Doc Porter), and Jesse Gephart (Barnet Lloyd) complete the sterling cast.
The first-class crew consist of Chris Bernier (Scenic/Lighting Designs), Liz Ray (Stage Manager), Will Mikes (Sound Design), LeGrande Smith (Costume Design), Denise Schumaker (Costume Designer/Properties Mistress), Michelle Wood (Assistant Stage Manager), Allison Dellinger (2nd Assistant Stage Manager), Kat Froehlich (Wardrobe), Wendy Brown (Props Assistant), Lauren Kennedy (Artistic Director), Austenne Grey (Interim Company Manager), Morgan Parpan (Development Coordinator), Maigan Kennedy (Management Associate).
