Watch four friends on their quest to find "the one", as they also realize that supporting the ones you love can be just as impossible as finding it, at the Kennedy Theatre June 13 -24.

Jordan Berman (Jesse Gephart) would love to be in love, but that's easier said than done. So until he meets "Mr. Right", he wards off lonely nights with his trio of close-knit girlfriends Laura, played (Emily Bosco), Kiki (Meagan Chieppor), Vanessa (Shayla LaGrange), and Jordan's grandmother Helene (Barbara Kingsley*). But as singles' nights turn into bachelorette parties, Jordan finds that supporting the ones you love can be just as impossible as finding love itself.

Directed by Julia Murney who is best known for her Broadway career, namely Queen in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party and Elphaba in Wicked.

"After directing Smokey Joe's Cafe last year, I am thrilled to return to Theatre Raleigh to direct something a little different. Significant Other is a lovely contemporary piece that speaks to the questions we all ask... namely, who am I, why on earth am I here, and is it all about love?" said Julia Murney, Director. "Theatre Raleigh audiences always prove to be so sharp, willing and most of all, are great listeners. I am excited to bring this play to them with this wonderful young cast."

Overflowing with heart and humor, their affirming journey will change them - and maybe you - forever.

Master Class (August 8-19)
Inspired by world-renowned opera diva Maria Callas' magnificent Juilliard master class series, the Tony Award-winning play spotlights the tour-de-force artist and vulnerable woman known as La Divina. Once (September 5-16)
Guy meets girl in the smash-hit, award-winning musical. On the streets of Dublin, an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant are drawn together by their shared love of music. Over the course of one fateful week, an unexpected friendship and collaboration quickly evolve into a powerful but complicated love story.

The Rocky Horror Show (October 26-27) Cary's Booth Amphitheatre
Let's do the Time Warp again! Come see what happens when Theatre Raleigh and Cary's Booth Amphitheatre join forces again to present the cult classic The Rocky Horror Show live on stage. Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper, and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock 'n' roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever. Remember It's a jump to the left, and then a step to the right to get the Cary's Booth Amphitheatre.
