The annual Youth Series of plays at Raleigh Little Theatre continues with a musical based on Harry Allard's acclaimed series of books, "Miss Nelson is Missing!" The play is directed by Kathleen Rudolph, Associated Youth Theatre and Education Director, and continues a series that began with "A Year with Frog and Toad" and is followed by "Charlotte's Web."

"The music is wonderful and there are four part harmonies with all the children. It's hard, but very fun. I actually did this show in 2005, so it is exciting for me to do it again with a totally different cast, a totally different set and costumes and to make it new for me, so I am very excited to do it," says Rudolph.

Though based on a series of children's books, "Miss Nelson is Missing!", teaches children everywhere to be kind to their teachers.

"Miss Nelson is Missing!" runs March 11-27 in the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre. Tickets for all events at RLT can be purchased by calling the box office (919)-821-3111, Monday through Friday, noon to 5:00 p.m., or by visiting the theatre's website at www.raleighlittletheatre.org.
