PlayMakers Rep to Host 2015-16 Preview Event, 6/11

PlayMakers Repertory Company will hold a special event to celebrate its upcoming 40th anniversary season. The theater company will host a 2015/16 Season Preview with producing artistic director Joseph Haj on June 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Center for Dramatic Art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Haj will reveal new information about the season, share his inspiration for the lineup of plays, and take audience questions in an onstage conversation moderated by Frank Stasio, host of WUNC-FM's "The State of Things." A reception with food and drink will begin the evening, with the presentation in the Paul Green Theatre at 7:30 p.m., followed by dessert in the lobby.

The theater promises a special look at what's ahead for PlayMakers, and for Haj as he takes up his next position on the national theater scene. After nine seasons with PlayMakers, Haj will become artistic director of the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in July.
