Amélie, the fourth production in Parkway Playhouse's mainstage season, will open this weekend on Saturday, July 27th. Directed by Dwight Chiles, this innovative production features beautiful music, dazzling choreography, and a story unlike any you have seen before! The cast includes: Christine Caldemeyer, Dwight Chiles, Collin Eten, William Ezzell, Jane Hallstrom, Annelise Henry, Tabitha Judy, Kristen Livengood, Dylan Renken, Kai'ana Stella, Hunter Taylor, Shelby Tyler, and Roberta Whiteside.
Amélie is an extraordinary young woman who lives quietly in the world but loudly in her mind. She covertly improvises small but surprising acts of kindness that bring joy and mayhem. But when a chance at love comes her way, Amélie realizes that to find happiness she'll have to risk everything and say what's in her heart. Be inspired by this imaginative dreamer who finds her voice, discovers the power of connection, and sees possibility around every corner.
Performances will be held on July 27th, August 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th at 7:30pm. There will be matinee performances on July 28th and August 4th at 3pm. Tickets range from $13 for children to $24 for adults. All performances are at the historic Parkway Playhouse theatre, located at 202 Green Mountain Drive in Burnsville, NC.
