Anne Jordan's portrait of a young girl is promently displayed in the current production of Struck by Theatre Raleigh running through this weekend and is an intergral part of the plot. Her art will be displayed in the Kennedy Theatre Lobby this Friday.
Anne Jordan is a painter and illustrator working here in Raleigh. She studied at The Rhode Island School of Design, the Lorenzo de Medici in Italy, The Art Students League in New York City, and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Anne was taught by Everett Raymond Kinstler, one of the top portrait painters in the world. Anne's illustration of a Muslim American woman was recently selected by Francoise Moulay (art editor of The New Yorker) for publication in RESIST! Anne's greeting cards have been sold nationwide in stores such as Paper Source and Urban Outfitters and her work has been featured in Stationary Trends, Design Sponge, and Martha Stewart. Anne is thrilled to be part of Struck!
