Matthews Playhouse Seeks Technical Assistants

The Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts, is seeking technical assistance for the 2010-2011 season. Positions are on a show by show basis, and stipends will be offered. Interested candidates should send letter of interest, resume highlighting theatre experience and contact information for three references to: matthewsplayhouse@windstream.net attn. June Bayless

Matthews Playhouse is a nonprofit children's and community theatre. Theatre For Young People is our children's theatre wing of our organization, Theatre Matthews is full length family theatre. More Information is available on our website at matthewsplayhouse.com.

THE DIARY OF Anne Frank, October 15-24th Theatre Matthews Production

MISS NELSON IS MISSING, November 5-14th Theatre for Young People

DISNEY'S THE JUNGLE BOOK, February 18-27th Theatre for Young People

WIZARD OF OZ, April 1-3 Matthews Playhouse Theatre Companies

The following positions include a stipend for your services: Costume Designers (all shows except MISS NELSON), Stage Managers, Props Coordinator, Technical Director, Light and Sound Board Operators for Schools shows.

The following positions are volunteer positions: Set Construction, Props Construction, Assistant Stage Managers, Light and Sound Board Operators for public shows.
