The male heirs of the Baskerville line are being eliminated one by one. To find their ingenious killer, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson must brave the desolate moors before a family curse dooms its newest heir. Watch as the intrepid investigators try to escape a dizzying web of clues, silly accents, and elaborate disguises. "Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery " opens at Raleigh Little Theatre on April 12th and runs through April 28th.
"Sherlock Holmes is one of the most frequently adapted characters in books, plays, and film. What makes this adaptation unique is its playfulness. While the audience members are entertained by a murder mystery they are also constantly aware that only five actors are playing over forty characters and are rooting for them to pull off fast and often athletic transformations. All in the spirit of a story well told," says Jeremy Skidmore, the director of the play.
This production is supported by HagerSmith Design PA and CT Weekends. The production runs from April 12th through April 28th at the Raleigh Little Theatre, 301 Pogue Street, Raleigh. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 919-821-3111, Monday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m., or by visiting the theatre's website at www.raleighlittletheatre.org.
