Durham Performing Arts Center has announced its upcoming Broadway season, according to WRAL.com. The season has been dubbed "New York, New York" because all eight shows are currently or were recently on Broadway, including smash hit Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen.

The full 2018/2019 Suntrust Broadway season includes:

  • Hamilton: Nov. 6-Dec. 2, 2018
  • Fiddler on the Roof: Jan. 8-13, 2019
  • Miss Saigon: Jan. 22-27, 2019
  • Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Feb. 12-17, 2019
  • Dear Evan Hansen: March 12-17, 2019
  • Anastasia: April 16-21, 2019
  • Hello, Dolly! starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley: May 21-26, 2019
  • Cats: June 4-9, 2019

In addition to these shows, The Book of mormon will also return August 7-12 as part of the Great Hits of Broadway at DPAC.

To secure tickets to the upcoming Broadway season, purchase season tickets. The current Season Seat Members have until May 10, and if there are any remaining season ticket packages, they will go onsale to the public.

A public on-sale date for individual tickets to Hamilton has not been announced. In other cities, the show has held a lottery drawing for a limited number of tickets for purchase for each performance. It is unclear if this will be the case at DPAC.

For the other seven shows this season, a limited number of tickets for non-members will be available. The seats are also expected to go on sale later this summer.
