Ghost & Spice Productions, a long-running member of the rich and vibrant Triangle theatre community, will be canceling the remainder of its season. The successful run of Harold and Maude in October will serve as their final production.

Company director Rachel Klem, who also manages Common Ground Theatre, cites new and exciting opportunities as the principal reason for the departure. "Three of our members got new jobs, other members were getting enticing offers from other companies, and we felt the company had creatively run its course," she says. She reports new and exciting adventures ahead for each of the company members.

Previous and current company members Klem, Jordan Smith, Jeff Alguire, Lenore Field, Melissa Lozoff, John Murphy, Tracey Coppedge, Rus Hames, Jennifer Evans, Shelby Hahn and Amanda Hahn will all remain in the area and continue working in theatre and film. Common Ground Theatre, which served as home to Ghost & Spice for eight years will continue to thrive as one of the top theatre venues in the Triangle.

For eleven years, Ghost & Spice delivered a "small but mighty" approach to local theatre, putting special emphasis on high standards of acting and directing while minimizing production costs. Its rich storytelling brought audiences varied, engaging, and affordable professional theatre.
