Starting Tuesday, March 31, Charlotte couples are sure to be roaring with laughter and sharing knowing glances while asking "Could comedy give couples therapy a run for its money?" With hilarious insight on contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zones, Defending the Caveman mines the common themes in relationships that go straight through the funny bone and into the heart. Defending the Caveman makes us laugh at ourselves, about all the ways that men and woman fight, laugh and love.

Written by comedian Rob Becker over a three year period that included an informal study of psychology, sociology, and prehistory, Defending the Caveman is full of wonderful scenarios that celebrate the differences between men and women, making it the perfect entertainment option for couples or a girls night out.

Defending the Caveman will be performed by Vince Valentine, one of eight fine actors hand selected by Rob Becker to step into the shoes of the Caveman.
A Philadelphia native, Vince Valentine made his comedy debut when he was 11 years old at his cousin Anthony's First Holy Communion with his now legendary "Uncle Dominic at the Racetrack" routine. Fast forward to his 30's when, with the support of Paul J. Solari, Vince began performing at comedy clubs along the East coast.

In 2002, Vince began his theatrical career when he joined the cast of "The Soapranos", an interactive parody of the HBO TV series. The show, produced by New York Dinner Theater, starred Vince as Christopher and toured throughout the United States. Vince went on to star in Joey and Maria's Italian Wedding, The Godfathers' Meshuggener Wedding, The Brick Playhouse's production of Flip the Script and made his NYC debut in What Fools We Lovers Be at the Midtown International Theatre Festival.

In addition to his theatrical credits Vince's stand-up earned him local recognition leading to appearances as a guest panelist on "NBC10! Live" as well as a finalist on NBC10?s "Best summer Gig Ever Traffic Contest" and 93.3 WMMR's "Philly's Last Comic Standing".

In addition to Defending the Caveman other favorite projects include

starring in the independent film "Shut Up And Eat", which Vince co-wrote, playing the role of Sal Monella in an iPod spec commercial, and his participation in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival as a member of the Sketch Comedy Troupe "Skitzoids. When not performing, Vince teaches a Stand-Up Comedy Workshop in Philadelphia.
Defending the Caveman is produced by Theater Mogul - a global theatrical production company with shows in more than 30 countries and in 16 different languages. Its offices are in New York City and Zurich, Switzerland.
