Carolina Actors Studio Theatre will be conducting auditions for Jeffrey Hatcher's adaptation of Jekyll and Hyde, directed by Audrey Alford.
The production will run October 13 - November 5 at CAST-NODA at 28 St.
Rehearsals will run weeknights and weekends beginning July 18. The rehearsal process will be physical in nature and will include Viewpoints technique workshops.
The auditions will be held BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on Saturday, June 25 from 11AM-3PM at 2424 N. Davidson St. Candidates MUST bring a current headshot and resume. Each audition will consist of a movement exercise and readings from the script.

This is an ensemble piece consisting of 2 women and 4 men, ages 25-55. One actor plays only Dr. Jekyll, one actor plays only Elizabeth Jelkes, and the other four actors play all other roles, including Mr. Hyde.

The play is set in London, circa 1883. The time period is late Victorian. This is a true psycho-thriller asking the question "Is there a wholly good and a wholly evil, or do we all personify both?"
