Burning Coal Theatre Company to Offer Public Speaking Class

Burning Coal Theatre Company's new Director of Education, Jorie Slodki, will be teaching a class in Public Speaking for Professionals January 18th through February 8th, 2016. Classes will take place Mondays from 7 to 10 pm at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh. Participants will spend four weeks learning about speech-writing, rehearsal techniques, and stress-reduction. By the end of class, participants will be able to speak in front of a crowd and deliver a speech with minimal stress. The cost is $145, payable on or prior to the first day of class.

Students will be expected to write outside of class. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. 919.834.4001.
