In a season where 'Broadway Doesn't Get Any Bigger Than This' at Durham Performing Arts Center, we usually get full-fledged musical productions. This time, we get something else from Broadway. It is a magic show known as THE ILLUSIONISTS!

THE ILLUSIONISTS - Witness the Impossible showcases the jaw dropping talents of six of the most incredible magicians on earth. It has shattered box office records across the globe and dazzles audiences of all ages with a powerful mix of the most outrageous and astonishing acts ever to be seen on stage.

Jeff Hobson pretty much emcees most of the show. He specializes in not only magic, but also comedy, earning his name, The Trickster. It's impossible to not laugh at his skills because you never know what's coming next from him. Hobson even says that whatever you don't laugh at, that's the magic!

Dan Sperry does some very shocking tricks as The Anti-Conjuror. He goes beyond the the usual extravagant style and use of flashy costumes by combining magic with the use of some macabre.

From Australia, Raymond Crowe as The Unusualist is a world-class magician who also does some physical comedy, unusual ventriloquism, and an intricate shadow puppet show. From South Korea, Yu Ho-Jin as The Manipulator has the ability of manipulating mystery and wonder! Jonathan Goodwin shows us why he's called The Daredevil as he goes through some of the most dangerous stunts you'll ever witness! Aaron Trent as The Futurist fuses some classic techniques, dancing, comedy, and technology to do something extraordinary!

You'll probably never get another chance to witness anything like this on the face of the Earth, because these illusionists really have some magic to do just for you! This national touring production is currently playing at Durham Performing Arts Center through November 15th with a special 90 minute matinee performance on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
