Czech Republic premiere of a "new" Shakespeare play that holds the mirror up to nature with its themes of date rape, victim shaming, betrayal of friendship, forced marriages and madness. Double Falsehood shows how little we've evolved from 16th Century relations. Lewis Theobald's adaptation of Williamm Shakespeare & John Fletcher's long-lost play, Cardenio, based upon an episode in Cervantes' Don Quixote, provides a timely discourse on honor. Harnessing the most familiar of the Bard's pen, from the amusing - a quartet of lovers, interfering patriarchs, women disguised as boys; to dark intentions - seduction, betrayal, madness, Double Falsehood provides tragedy laced with comedy set in the exotic location of 16th Century Andalucia, Spain.

Each guest receives a FREE glass of Spanish wine!
No advance sales or reservations - tickets at the door only on December 6.
