One of the most successful Broadway adaptations in Portugal is back!
After six months of selling out the Casino Estoril Auditorium, QUASE NORMAL is going to Teatro da Trindade for a one-month run, from Wednesday to Sunday.
This show is not the usual feel-good musical that makes you tap your feet and smile from ear to ear. It is a heavy piece, that strikes every fiber of your being - and isn't that why you go to the theatre after all?
The adaptation from English to Portuguese is tricky but it was cleverly done by Henrique Feist, who also directs and stars in the musical. However, the adaptation is not the only thing that should make you buy a ticket to see this show: the cast is composed by a group of talented actors, each one of them surprising in their own unique way. Still, Lúcia Moniz is the one that needs an honorable mention - a part of a bipolar mother is not for the faint-hearted and she does justice to every single note she sings. An unforgettable performance.
Make no mistake - if you haven't already, you need to see this musical. Everybody does. Especially if you are a fan of Musical Theatre, if you are a fan of music, if you have family problems or if you ever wished your family was a bit more normal - or at least next to normal...
