Their struggle to escape hate, violence, and prejudice to find a place together remains a heart wrenching and relevant story for our time. With its brilliant, passionate score by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim and pioneering choreography by Jerome Robbins, West Side Story has earned its place as one of the most powerful and revered musicals in history.
