Join the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (USA), either virtually or in person, for its opening concert of the 2021-2022 season, performing works by Beethoven, Saint-Sans and Schubert. Beethovens Coriolan Overture opens the program, followed by Spanish violinist Francisco Fullana performing Saint-Sanss masterpiece, Violin Concerto No. 3. The concert also features Schuberts posthumously premiered Symphony No. 4 Tragic, a surprising and sublime work written when he was just 19 years old. This concert is available to watch on Saturday, September 25 at 7 PM PDT and Sunday, September 26 at 3 PM PDT. Tickets to this performance at the Newmark Theatre in Portland, Oregon, are available on Vancouver Symphony Orchestras website, vancouversymphony.org. Discounted student tickets are also available. Every ticket can be used for in-person attendance or to watch live online through the Virtual Concert Hall on the VSO website.
