The Centering is a one-man thriller that rips open the mind of a disappeared political prisoner. Driven to The Edge by interrogators, Davey's memories reveal a dark and twisted past where only the wisdom of an aging Arab clown and a dream of performing in the circus offer escape. Originally performed by Chris Harder, who received a 2007 Drammy Award for Outstanding Performance and toured the show internationally, Harder now directs award-winning actor Andy Lee-Hillstrom.

Mormon Redneck Thespian: How to Overcome a Life of Drugs, Abuse, and Being a Redneck
Written and Performed by Cory Huff
Directed by Lynne Duddy & Lawrence Howard, Portland Story Theater
June 21 - 24, 2012

Mormon Redneck Thespian is Cory Huff's inspirational one man show about growing up a redneck, converting to Mormonism, and overcoming abuse, drugs, and anger to start on the path to enlightenment. Called "funny, yet thoughtful and poignant" by The Oregonian, Huff's show has played to sold out audiences in Portland since it appeared in the Fertile Ground Festival in January.

Opening for Cory Huff will be Lynne Duddy and Lawrence Howard of Portland Story Theater. Lynne will perform "Éist! Is Éireannach mé!" (that's Gaelic for Listen I'm Irish!), a true story of how fate brought the love child of one father under the protection of another, and Lawrence Howard will perform "Bird in the Dojo," a story about his brilliant but short-lived career in the martial arts.

You Belong to Me
A New Play By Steven Wolfson
Performed by Elizabeth Huffman
June 28 - July 1, 2012

Two women teeter on the precipice of monumental personal change. The Actress, her life spent in the theatre, struggles to hold onto her sanity when her life is ravaged by divorce and addiction. Aspasia, a high-priced courtesan who shares the bed of ancient Greece's most powerful politician, seeks to influence the destiny of her country and its women.

Irregardless
Written and performed by Stacey Hallal
July 5 - 14, 2012

In this solo comedy show, Stacey Hallal delivers smart, sharp insights with such a winning charm that you never even feel the stinG. Hallal moves effortlessly from stand up to songs to storytelling to sketch. Her presentation and perspective are fresh, but what makes her funniest is that she hits a common chord that resonates with the audience not only in the moment, but also well beyond the end of the show. Willamette Week called Irregardless "funny, well-conceived and, for a comedy show, unexpectedly poignant." Trained at the famed Second City in Chicago, Hallal has performed, taught and directed comedy for over a decade and is the founder and Artistic Director of Curious Comedy Theater.

Performance schedule runs Thursday - Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Series Pass: $50 for all four shows; Single Tickets: $15. To purchase, call 503-715-1114 or 503-220-2646 or online at www.cohoproductions.org.
